Helen Brown

Following a brief illness, Helen Brown of Arthurette, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on December 14, 2022.

Helen was born in New Denmark, NB, on August 2, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Hans and Elizabeth Laursen. Helen leaves behind her daughters, Dalice Tomlinson of Arthurette, NB, Connie Noseworthy (Art) of Fredericton, NB, Catherine Morrison (Mark) of Windsor, ON; her son, Robert "Bob" Brown (Rachel) of Castlegar, BC; her nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren; her sister, Erna May (Ronald) of Kingsclear, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert "Bert" Brown; her son-in-law, Robert Tomlinson; her sisters, Kristen Ferguson (Bill), Birgit Stalmack, Greta Whalen (Clair), and Mary Mount (Jim); her brother, Jens Laursen (Olive).

Visitation will be held at the Arthurette Canadian Legion on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 1-2 pm. A celebration of Helen's life will be held following the visitation at 2 pm. Mr. Kenneth Campbell officiating. Interment will be in the Arthurette Baptist Cemetery.
